Roll out the red carpet; It’s the GRAMMY’S!

The 57th annual awards aired at 8pm EST on 2/8 at The Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. E! News covered the Pre-Grammy show and highlighted the hottest stars to hit the red carpet. Some of our favorite looks of the night came from Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifa accompanied by baby Sebastian, Taylor Swift and Gwen Stefani. Hosted by LL Cool J, the show was opened by Australian hard rock band AC/DC who immediately engaged the crowd with the classic “Highway to Hell” as they sang along wearing red light-up devil horns.

The night featured over 20 performances including the likes of Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Ed Sheeran and Beck. A major highlight of the night, 21-time winner Kanye West took the Grammy stage for the first time in 6 years performing “Only One” and later “Four Five Seconds” with Rihanna and Paul McCartney. Following West, 56-year-old pop legend Madonna sported a fitted red and black embellished matador style bodysuit as she danced around to her song “Living for Love”. Hozier’s “Take Me to Church” was a stunning and memorable performance with help from Annie Lennox who put a magic touch on things with a soulful rock rendition of “I Put A Spell on You.”

When talking wins, Sam Smith was the man of the evening, sweeping 4 out of the 9 presented awards during the show including Best New Artist and Song of the Year. Check out a recap of the presented wins below. Check out The Washington Post for a full list of all 83 awards.

0-100: Diddy vs. Drake

December 10 – On Sunday night (12/7), reports surfaced about a fight between Diddy and Drake in Miami. The two were likely in town following Miami’s 2015 Art Basel when things got heated resulting in a physical altercation. Reportedly, Drake’s shoulder was aggravated during the scuffle due to a previous unrelated injury (MTV.com).

No official statements have been released but Drake did post a photo to instagram with the caption “They’re either talking sh*t about you or stealing the sh*t you’re talking…either way the name been poppin.” Although no direct shots were taken, we would assume this comment is directed towards Diddy. Looks like Drake is unbothered by the situation either way.

Apparently, this beef dates back a few months. A video from June 2014 surfaced of Diddy accusing Drake of stealing the “0-100” beat to a crowd in a nightclub. Boi-1da had originally produced the beat for Diddy during a studio session in Miami. It was sent to Drake for a verse but instead, he released his own freestyle version in June. The track made waves as a summer jam and recently received two Grammy nominations (Best Rap Song and Best Rap Peformance). Maybe it was the possibility of a Grammy or being back in Miami where a Diddy “hit” could have been made (lol) but the name-changing rapper was definitely set off.

T.I. & Tiny: Trouble in Paradise?

Stars of the popular reality TV VH1 series T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle may be calling it quits. There have been recent rumors circulating that T.I. cheated on Tiny with one of her friends causing things to spiral out of control. Urban Belle Magazine shared screenshots of the Instagram battle that went on from the couples’ personal accounts that hinted at marital problems. T.I.’s caption included “…it’s #Hustlegangovererrrrthang #god #Children #ThatCheck IN THAT ORDER!!!!!”. Uh oh, I don’t see mention of his wife Tiny in there. Tiny posted what seems to be a response photo on Instagram with the caption “These n*****s be acting up & these B’s be letting em!” That seemed like a subliminal shot to The King if you ask me.

The couple reportedly flew out to L.A. together over the weekend to attend the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. According to FreddyO.com, the couple decided to officially split but this has not been confirmed. It was later updated that their good friend Shekinah instragrammed a happy photo of the couple telling fans not to believe the rumors. Although it is unclear whether or not the two will separate, with the help of Instagram, we know that there may be some trouble brewing. I definitely hope that it’s all speculation and rumors because I love this celebrity couple! The Family Hustle made us fall in love with them and their little ones so I’ve got my fingers crossed for these two. Stay tuned!
